U16 Boys PSG '96
Manhattan Paris St. Germain enter the NPL National Championships representing EDP and are the 2013 Region 1 Premier League Champions. Following a competitive run at the Region 1 Championships in Rhode Island a few weeks ago, the 16's have their eyes set on the Cup in Colorado. Currently ranked #11 in the nation, the boys bring a wealth of national level experience to this competition that should give them the leg up on the rest of the group. Always dangerous up top with the likes of Ousmane Dia and Amara Sesay. Throw former Man U Academy member Jack Harrison and former National Pool player Daniel O'Grady into the mix, PSG 96 is certainly explosive (as the boys rattled off 13 goals in their first two games at Regionals). Always defensively sound with the likes of Amigon, Barovick, Fitzgerald, Hennessey and Armstrong, PSG 96 enter as the favorites here.
Open on 7/18 at 130pm against East Side Timbers from Oregon. 1115am on 7/19 against OC Black from Cali. Finish with Sporting Blue Valley from Kansas at 330pm. Three bracket winners and wild card go to semis.
Chicago Magic PSG also to compete in this age group. Which city, New York or Chicago has the top PSG affiliation in the US? Hopefully the NPL National Championships will settle that debate! My money is on New York :)
