U15 Girls MSC Pride lose 4-0 to Albertson Fury in State Cup Finals

Albertson, ranked in the top 5 in the nation in just about every reputable ranking service, proved too strong for MSC Pride.  Pride, who were banged up for the Final, played Albertson tough for major portions of the game, but gave up a quick goal five minutes into the match, and the Fury scored another one before the half ended, to make it two-nil at the intermission.  Fury scored two goals in the second half to win going away.  Pride had shut out its two prior opponents, both top 5 teams in ENY, but Albertson ball posession and attack skills were awesome in this game.  Finishing runner-up in the State is no disgrace, as the Pride become only the third team to play in the Open Cup title game in MSC history.  Congrats on a great season.
