About MSC
The Largest and most Comprehensive Soccer Club In NYC
Manhattan Soccer Club is the largest and most comprehensive soccer club in New York City and neighboring Westchester County, offering all levels of development and competition from ages 4 to 23. Every training session is run by licensed, professional coaches who follow a curriculum that develops both the player and the person. Through their dedication to mastering the sport of soccer, our players not only learn to love the “beautiful game.” They build strength and stamina, self-esteem, and sportsmanship.
We are also a community of more than 1000 families. We come from all five boroughs and the surrounding area, and play our soccer right in the heart of New York City. Our March Kickoff-Classic tournament is one of the top showcases in the Northeast, featuring regionally and nationally ranked teams from some of the best clubs in the country.
If your kids love soccer, we encourage you to come to see what MSC has to offer. Attend a training session; meet our coaches; speak with our parents or players.
Our Approach
Starting at ages 4-5 with our Development Academy, MSC has a professionally-developed curriculum designed to teach the skills eventually needed to play at the highest levels, taught by soccer professionals in age-appropriate ways. They play fall and spring outdoor seasons, futsal in winter, pick-up and league soccer during the summer. The goal is long-term development and nurturing love for the game; winning matches is the eventual byproduct, not the focus.
WHERE WE PLAY
Our home fields are state-of-the-art turf and grass fields at Randall's Island, now one of the most spectacular soccer venues in the country. Randall's Island is easily accessible from NYC boroughs and the surrounding area. The club offers chaperoned buses to practices on Randall’s Island from the east and west sides of Manhattan.
In addition to Randall's, our teams practice from time to time at Frederick Douglass Field in Manhattan. In the winter months, we train outdoors when weather permits, at gyms in and around Manhattan and at Socceroof in Brooklyn and Queens.
